About Us
Who Are We?
Voluntary Nature Conservancy is a nonprofit organization working towards environment conservation.
We are a registered non-profit, tax-exempt charitable organization. We are active at the grassroots level since our inception in 1988, nurturing nature for a better future.
Voluntary Nature Conservancy was founded in India as Vidyanagar Nature Club in 1988. Recently, the organization was renamed as Voluntary Nature Conservancy as the non-profit organization expanded its work beyond Vidyanagar and its surrounding areas.
Through our collaboration with VNC India, we have carried out several activities and projects, including work on crocodiles, arachnids, tree plantations, environment awareness, among others. Some of our projects have been funded by well-renowned organizations such as The Rufford Small Grants Foundation, Idea Wild, Bombay Natural History Society, Duleep Matthai Nature Conservation Trust and more.
VNC stands tall due to a talented and committed team of volunteers who are the backbone of the activities we carry out. The team at VNC is dedicated to conserving the environment and make sustainable efforts towards the same. The team believes in being rooted in the community and clarity of work; as a result, complete transparency in the transactions related to both fiscal and non-fiscal matters is maintained. This is also done to uphold the faith bestowed on us by our supporters, donors, volunteers and well-wishers.

She is founder trustee of VNC USA, she has conducted several fund raising events, she looks after donor coordination and public relation, looks after financial part of the organization. In the USA, she has been voice and face of VNC & its activities.
Hemal Patel

Born and brought up in India, he was passionate supporter and volunteer of VNC and its activities now settled in United States of America. He has strong affection for the wildlife and he looks after fundraising and volunteer coordination.
Manoj Patel

He was born in India and brought up in the USA with a strong background in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, and MBA in Finance. He has assisted in fundraising activities in VNC NJ, USA. He is passionate to support VNC and has recently joined as a Trustee in VNC USA.
Vinny Spotleson
vinny@vncusa.org
He spent the last decade working to protect the environment by promoting renewable energy and the preservation of public lands. He most recently served as the District Director for U.S. Congresswoman Dina Titus. In prior roles he led the coalition to transition NV Energy off of coal power while employed by Sierra Club, and helped protect more than one million acres of wildlife habitat while working for Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and the Nevada Conservation League.
